At Recovery Café San Jose, healing begins with belonging, and every cup of coffee, every shared meal, every welcome at the door is made possible by people like you. Your support today keeps our doors open and our community strong. Become a Café Bean-efactor and help sustain the connection and community that grow around a simple cup of coffee. Join our Cup of Kindness Collective, and together let’s make sure everyone has a safe place to be seen, supported, and reminded that everyone is worthy of love, and deserving of opportunities to fulfill their potential.

Your support will go toward continuing the Cafe's programs:

• Community Meals & Coffee Bar:
  • A single cup of coffee offered with kindness can completely change a life.
  • The Cafe serves two meals in community each day, brunch and lunch-, providing the opportunity for new social connections.
• Recovery Support in the form of:
  • Weekly support groups called Recovery Circles;
  • Our School of Recovery, which offers classes & workshops in recovery & mental health support, healthy living, inner healing, and practical life skills;
  • One-on-one systems navigation support, providing help to members with housing, transportation, employment, education, and tech challenges
  • The Clothing Closet, providing access to gently used donated clothes and other seasonal necessities
• Job Training programs:
  • a one-year Peer Support Intern program which trains Cafe members to serve as peer support for other members;
  • Barista Skills training and Culinary Arts training (with SafeServ food handling certification)
  • A mobile coffee cart social enterprise launching in 2026
